New measures for agrarian reform

Faced with the government's inclination for a new policy on land issues, the
land movements, led by the MST, decided to anticipate invasions throughout the country, in
an action called "Hot January". Usually these invasions occur in
called "Red April", in protest of the deaths that occurred Eldorado do Carajás.
According to the MST, the measures seek to open a dialogue with the government,
claiming: the updating of productivity indexes, family settlements,
investments in agribusiness, biodiesel and family farming; change of Decree
433, implementation of the University of Agrarian Reform, among other demands.
